Why "Blowfish"?
Our most frequently asked question. The answer is a little long, but bear with us while we explain. We had a unique soap design that worked the top of the bar in a wave pattern, and wanted a fitting name. Turns out, the wave patterns on top of our soap are much like that which the little white spotted Japanese blowfish makes in the sand when attracting a mate. Often described as ocean floor crop circles, these intricate designs looked much like the wave pattern atop our soap bars, while reflecting the time and care we put into making our soap. So, that is the origin of the Blowfish name.

Who Are We?
Just a couple of guys (lets call us Mr. A and Mr. P) with a passion for making soap and the science behind formulating a great bar.

Mr. A is a business graduate and has held a long time interest in soap. He is a frequent visitor at healthcare conventions around the world. Through extensive research and exposure to the industry, he felt that there was a need for a more natural, healthier alternative to the mass produced products on the market today. Not only did he seek out better products, he started making soap himself.

Mr. P is a science graduate and a lifelong sufferer of skin conditions that have prevented him using conventional cleansing products. When Mr. A introduced the idea of a natural soap to him, Mr. P looked into the health benefits and discovered the hypoallergenic nature of certain products, which spurred his interest into developing something which not only could he use, but could be used by others suffering from similar conditions.
